Districts asked to keep tabs on surge as Odisha sees 3,650 new Covid cases

The state government on Thursday asked the district administrations to keep a close watch on a possible surge in new infections and active cases. The development came on a day the state reported 3650 new infections, the highest single-day rise in the past six days, increasing the positivity rate to around 5.5%.‘been hovering around 3,000 for the past one week, dropping to 2,957 only once on Tuesday.
