Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation initiates crowd control

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday sealed eight foreign liquor off-shops (outlets) in north and south-east zones of the city as it intensified enforcement to contain the Covid situation in the state capital. The BMC has also decided to keep one of the city’s biggest markets — Indradhanu — closed till July 1 as the shops there are witnessing a crowd surge.
