Bhubaneswar: Sudden downpour accompanied by strong winds lashed the capital city today triggering panic and causing much inconvenience to denizens.
The local meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar has issued yellow warning for several districts of the State for next few days.
A cyclonic circulation which now stretches from West Bengal to Bangladesh is likely to trigger rainfall in the districts of Balasore, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Balasore, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Sundergarh will experience rainfall till March 7.
